Therapy lights I use

I started my red light therapy adventure with this small and budget friendly red therapy light from PlatinumLED

This is my old and classic Platinum BIO 300 (surprisingly still available from Platinum website – after all those years!)

I ordered combi version, which means 50% RED and 50% NIR LEDs but they got it mixed up and sent me the 100% NIR model. I actually liked that and even they offered replacement, I decided to keep it as it was. Full NIR light is best for physiotherapy – deep tissue treatment of muscles/joints as FULL power of the light goes up to 2″ deep in the body. If I had 50/50 light – only 50% of the power will go to muscles, as RED light do not penetrate further than skin level. That is the reason to go for double chip LED panels that offer you 100% NIR if you need to!

In 2020 when we were lucky to visit Poland during pandemic, we already got tickets booked a year before, I left my Platinum BIO 300 light for my elderly parents, as they needed it more than me. They are now enjoying it in their bedroom as you see on the picture here:

In 2021, after doing thorough research of the red light therapy market, I decided to order two light panels from MitoRedLight.

I ordered a large panel – sometimes called FULL BODY panel – Mito MOD 900

And SMALL therapy light for my wife to use for her face/beauty/anti-aging light therapy – Mito MOD 300

Then I got newer model Mito PRO 300 for so I could show you the difference between the MOD and PRO series of therapy lights

I have also acquired a Mito Mobile Flex – handheld light and I really love it! When I don’t feel like using my large panels or I am just too tired to stand in front of the light for 10min – I use this small panel in bed.

This is very portable 12 LEDs red light therapy panel with dual chip technology! Which means it has ability to switch ALL LEDs for NIR or RED, depending on what is your therapeutic goal. I now use it daily, as it is so handy and useful for many different applications.

Since December 2022 I have this NEXT GENERATION red light therapy panel from Mito Red Light. Mito ADAPT MIN

In February 2024 I got the latest and most advanced Mito panel Mito PRO 300X with touchscreen control panel and newer more elegant metal table stand (FREE! included in the price – whilst other companies change extra $100 for table stand).

Very good looking panel and in my opinion best value/performance option out there.

Here are some results of using red light therapy on skin for 37 days! Amazing!

You can find many interesting videos presenting these panels (and much more) on my YouTube channel: Light Therapy at Home

In my opinion handheld therapy panels and table top panels are the best therapy lights to start with, not only because they are usually least expensive but mostly, because they are so versatile!

Handheld therapy lights

can be used for spot treatment of different areas of your body, like achy muscles and joints:

You can also use them for skin health therapy very often called anti-aging for face and other areas of your skin:

Table top (small) lights

are equally versatile. You can use them for light therapy on your face (anti-aging):

But also for muscle and joint light therapy

You can use them sitting at the table:

Standing in front of them

Lying down:

For relaxation:

There are many other ways you could benefit from those small lights, not to mention you can take them with you on a trip, to your elderly parents and even do some light therapy at work during lunch break!

If I had space in my bedroom I would love to have large full body panel like this: Mito ADAPT Mega
