For light therapy on all or most of your body
Large light therapy panels are usually 36″ long or more and are able to cover our full body when it is moved away, up to 36″ distance. We can use one light this size to do light therapy on our skin as it requires low density light.
On the other hand, if we want to do light therapy for our muscles/joints or organs we need much more light density. It means we need to stand closer to the light to get the most benefits – usually it is recommended to be from 6-12″ away. In this case 36″ long panel will usually cover only 50% of our body. Which means, to do light therapy on full area of our body we would need two sessions, one for top and one for bottom. It is easily done when you have light mounted on door/wall with pulley system. For convenience and time saving – you can get two large panels, stack them on top of each other and this will allow you to have full body light therapy in one session. If time is important for you, it is worth investing in second light. If you don’t mind spending two time longer in front of the light – if you are enjoying it – one light should be more than enough.
